A 15-year-old boy has committed suicide at his grandmother’s home in Chesoen village, Bomet Central Sub-county.
His body was found hanging from an avocado tree outside his grandmother’s house on Sunday night.
While confirming the incidence, Bomet County Police Commander Ms Naomi Ichama claims that the deceased who has been identified as Emmanuel Kipkorir left his parent’s house which is a few meters from his grandmother’s house only for his body to be found hanging on an avocado tree outside his grandmother’s house at 10:30 pm on Sunday.
According to reports by KBC, the student was supposed to sit for his KCPE examination at Chesoen primary school in March 2022 before meeting his untimely death.
It has not been established the motive that drove the young boy to commit suicide as investigations are currently ongoing to figure out the puzzle.
His body was taken to Longisa Referral Hospital mortuary as the investigations and postmortem kicks of to reveal the real cause of his death.
The incident comes at a time when a huge number of those that are killing themselves is increasing everyday.
Police officers are killing themselves while some mothers are killing their innocent children together with them. Many cases of where people commit suicide is due to disappointed from their family members while others kill themselves due to stress.
