The Central Bank Of Kenya has announced internship opportunities for graduates who are fresh from school.
The Central Bank of Kenya often offers internships to young Kenyans in order to teach them the skills necessary to optimize the country’s financial stability.
Kenyans who recently obtained degrees in social sciences, law, banking, finance, economics, statistics, micro-finance, management, or a similar field are invited to submit applications.
Master’s degree holders in the relevant fields are also invited to apply.
They must be between the ages of 21-29 years and graduates within the last two years or waiting to graduate.
The applicants should not have any prior experience within the job market.
The program should last for six months after which they will be released to the job market.
“Guided by the responsibility of ensuring financial stability and fostering stable financial systems, the CBK has been running internship programs aimed at developing a pool of young talents exposed to the central and commercial banking operations,” part of their statement reads.
CBK has stated unequivocally that the internship will not be renewed and that it cannot guarantee that anyone would be retained.
Application submissions must be made online through the Central Bank career portal by Monday, August 22, 2022.
