The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has advertised job openings for a total of six different positions, including assistant finance officers, bank supervision analysts, assurance associates, information technology (IT) audit associates, and banking and payment service analysts.
According to an advertisement seen by our media team, the central bank requests that all applications be submitted using the online recruitment platform provided by Deloitte Kenya.
In addition, the advert stated that the applications should be made before October 14, 2022.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, economics, finance, or a closely related field is required for the post of assistant finance officer.
Further, the bank has specified that the candidates should have professional qualifications, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Bank supervision analysts require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as computer science, data science, accounting, business, or a closely related field.
Additionally, the applicants need to prove their professional competence by presenting credentials like CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) and CIM (Certified Information Manager) (CISM).
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Business is required for the post of IT audit associate.
Candidates for assurance associate roles are expected to meet professional criteria such as CPA in addition to holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or Finance.
A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, social studies, statistics, or computer science is required for those who want to work as banking and payment service analysts, as stated by the central bank.
Having at least two years of relevant work experience is typically required for every given position. In addition to the application form and resume, candidates will be asked to provide official, verified copies of their academic certificates.
