The Ministry of Education under the leadership of George Magoha has been facing a number of challenges since the spread of Covid 19 pandemic.
The pandemic led to rescheduling of academic calendars which were compressed in order to recover the lost times.
As schools are scheduled to reopen tomorrow for the third term of the school year, students should be aware of the tight academic schedule ahead of them
The new academic year is jam parked with academic activities including five national examinations. Among the examinations includes KCSE and KCPE which is expected to begin in March.
Throughout the week, parents have been busy preparing their children to return to school after a one week break. Majority of them claims the short period given was not enough for them to get enough school fees.
Some of them were required to purchase new uniforms for their children, while others, particularly those enrolled in private and boarding schools are required to pay more fees.
