The Cabinet Secretary for Education has made a new announcement on a ten-day extension for Grade Six students to choose which junior secondary schools they want to attend come next year, 2023 .
The Cs. stated this on Saturday, August 27, while attending the inspection of ongoing works in Kiambu county schools, indicating that the new deadline is September 10.
Magoha had earlier announced that students had until August 30 to make their choice on selection of schools
In addition, Education Cabinet Secretary also stated that change/postponement on school reopening dates was as a result of August 9 elections that delayed resumption of school.
According to Magoha, this exercise will end on September 10th, 2022, and by this date , every Kenyan child should have submitted the selection list .
