Normally the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) science paper is tested on the basis of skills against topics using a specification table.
The specification table ensures that all topics in the syllabus are covered and that no more questions are set from one section of the syllabus than from another.
Kenya National Examination Council tests all science topics from grade one to eight.
