Kenya is now looking forward to the release of the Kenya national certificate of primary education (kcpe) results that were postoned from last week to this week
Professor George magoha- cabinet Secretary ministry of education gave a statement last week to the media houses indicating to that the results are to be released any time as from Wednesday 23rd March 2022, but he later pushed the exercise forward and reported that it shall be released any time from 28th March 2022.
Cs. Magoha indicated that such decision was arrived at following the busy schedule of president Kenyatta and a few adjustments that were necessary in the same examinations before it is released.
Magoha in his speech still maintained that release of these examinations will depend on the availability of the head of state in the country ( president Uhuru Kenyatta) who is expected to be the chief guest on the ceremony.
Following the above decision, professor Magoha urged all teachers, candidates and parents maintain calmness during and even after the release of the examinations inorder to avoid unnecessary troubles such as suicide among others that have been experienced in the past.
The KCPE examinations were done in three days ,starting Monday, ,7th March and end on Wednesday, 9th March 2022.
In this examinations period,a total of number of 1,225,693 candidates sat for the exam across 28,248 exam centres in Kenya .
Magoha has further assured the Public that the government has budgeted for all learners in Kenya and after the release of the examinations,they are assured of transiting to the next levels of study.
However sources indicate that there are high chances of releasing the examinations today .
Further information indicates that English and kiswahili papers were done fairly well in this year as compared to other years in the past .
Parents, teachers and students are eagerly waiting for the release of this examination for these results are key determinant to the transition of learners to the next levels of study.
