How to examine the whole list of 7th grade school choices published by KNEC.
The full list of schools from which Grade 6 pupils can select secondary schools for Grade 7 has been made available by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) .

The council has also established a process for junior high school selection for children in Grade 6.
The list of JSSs has been posted by KNEC on the web at www.cba.knec.ac.ke.
In order to choose a school for JSS, teachers applying for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) in 2022 have been instructed to access the list of schools and children using their school credentials (username and password).
Teachers are instructed to enter into the CBA portal, click the “Grade 6” icon, choose “register kids,” and then click the “choose high school” option next to the student’s name. choice
Every student is required to select from two public junior high schools, two private junior high schools, two national schools, two regional schools, two district schools, and four district schools. At private schools, tuition is expected from parents.
Chief Executive Officer of KNEC David Njeng advised that inquiries regarding JSS that are incomplete or that need to be entered into the KNEC portal should be made to the District Education Officer via the District Education Officer for help.
All teachers must adhere to the requirements of the portal, which went live on Monday, August 15, and is open until Tuesday, August 30.
The basic reasons and conditions for choosing and assigning students to JSS in 2023 include placement in elementary schools as extra learning sites, secondary schools linked with public secondary schools, secondary schools that have been registered, and private secondary schools.
