The former Secretary General for KNUT and nominated Mp Wilson Sossion claims that public schools have suffered as a result of implementation of the Competency Based Curriculum.
He claimed that the implementation of the CBC was rushed by the government and schools are having difficulty in coping.

He made this claim earlier yesterday on Citizen Tv day break program.”CBC the way it was introduced in this country was to destroy the existence of public schools because they will never implement it.
We did not prepare,it was just imposed.
“The public schools will die and it will open a window for privatisation.
Whoever imposed it on this country was very deliberate to kill public schools.”
Education cabinet secretary George Magoha also said that he will soon start inspecting the private institutions across the country to ensure they have adequate facilities for the upcoming junior secondary schools.
This is because the government schools do not have enough facilities and space to accommodate the upcoming junior secondary schools who are suppose to be enrolled in schools as from next year.
Will the CBC be successful in most government schools?
The government really have to work towards it’s implementation, otherwise it will be counted as “dead”
