The Teacher Service Commission Service (TSC) is among the employers who pay their employees promptly, sometimes as early as 22nd of the month.
Despite that teachers cry foul over small pay, usually referred to as peanuts, this is a positive for the commission.
This week, expectations are high as teachers are bound to travel to the countryside for their Christmas break and celebrations. The teachers need to have some time with their families after a hectic term.
Cases of damages caused by the fires in schools made the term hectic hence affecting the flow of some teachers side hustles like remedial lessons and trips.
However, today being the 24th of December, the TSC might credit teachers accounts after they closed the payroll yesterday at around 2:30pm.
As a result, the TSC will have maintained the cycle of paying teachers between dates 19, 20, 21 and 24 as has been the case in the previous years.
Today by 2:00pm, teachers should check their salary accounts for their due white smoke and enjoy for their holidays.
Remember to share this article after reading even as we disperse our smoke detectors countrywide.
Thank you. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all in advance.
