A number of schools have now completed the curriculum and are prepared for the national exams.
This year’s national Examinations will comprise of grade 6, class 8, and Form 4 students thag are scheduled to run from 28th November to 23rd December,2022.
To this effect, Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released an updated KCPE 2022 timetable, that is expected to run for three days, from Monday, November 28, to Wednesday, November 30, according to the new timetable.
Rehearsal for KCPE candidates is scheduled for Friday, November 25, 2022.
Outgoing CS stated that marking will be completed by December and exams will be released on January 23, 2023.
On the other hand, KCSE will be practiced on November 18 before being administered between November 21 and December 23, 2022.
The learners will have rehearsals for the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) on November 18, followed by exams on November 21 – 25, 2022.
Since then, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has directed Sub-County Directors to identify, nominate, and vet centre managers, supervisors, and invigilators to spearhead the exercise and deploy them by October 18, 2022.
TSC, in a statement issued by CEO Nancy Macharia, also instructed the Board of Directors to follow a ratio of one invigilator for every 20 students and one supervisor for every 200 candidates.
