What this means is for example if a candidate scores 40 ticks in mathematics this means the maximum of 40 ticks will be 40 multiplied by 2 multiplied by 0.83 to get 66% and if he or she scores 50 ticks it becomes 83% which is the highest mark.
In the standardization highest score saw Mathematics getting 83% Science 82% Social studies and Religion 83% English 89% while Kiswahili 91%.
