The Kenya National Examination Council and the Ministry of Education CS Ezekiel Machogu has provided the latest information on when the KCSE 2022 examination results would be issued (KNEC).
When will KCSE 2022 results be released?
The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Examination results will be released this week, according to Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
The three-week test, which began on December 2, 2022, drew 884,263 candidates.
The examination, which is nearing completion, began marking on January 2, 2023, in at least 20 centers, the majority of which are in Nairobi.
The examination was closely monitored by a multi-agency team to ensure its free from any form of malpractices.
The release of the 2022 KCSE Examination results will mark the end of a compressed academic calendar that was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic that struck in 2020.
The candidates were in Form 2 when the pandemic broke out and only resumed their classes upon the full re-opening of schools in January, 2021.
The candidates will not doubt be credited for not only making history by covering the Form 4 syllabus in challenging times brought about by COVID-19 but also faced another disruption brought about by the August 9 General elections.
How to Check 2022 KCSE Exam Results
KCSE 2022 candidates can check their exam results by sending their index to SMS 20076. The results will only be available once they have been officially released by the CS Education Ezekiel Machogu
The SMS costs Kenyan shillings 20.00 on Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom networks.
