Kisii University second year students have been on suspension for barely four months after they were suspended from the universitycompound by the university administration.
The suspension was occassioned due to students unrest on 12 October 2021 that affecting all the second year students in their studies for the academic year 2021-2022.
The chaotic scenes were witnessed in the university compound during the strike with the students alleging an increase in the fee as the cause for the unrest leading to destruction of several school property.
The university administration through the help of the Vice chancellor tried to intervene on the issue but it could not bare fruits.
All the aforementioned second year students are expected to report at the university main campus as from 25 January 2022 as from 8am and the reporting dates have been scheduled according to faculties.
Before the date of reporting,the students are required to pay all outstanding fee arrears,pay all penalties resulting from the lose and damage for campus properties which will be determined by the university council and made available for the students at the Office of Registrar Academic Affairs.
