Masinde muliro university of science and technology commonly known as MMUST is located in kakamega county 1km from kakamega town along Kakamega-Webuye highway.
The administration has announced scholarship for 33 needy and bright students who are from the following counties: Busia, Bungoma, kakamega and vihiga county.
This is after donation of four hundred thousand Kenya Shillings (sh 400,000) which has been awarded courtesy of the existing MOU between MMUST and ACCESS
This is good news to the students who were hopeless due to financial crisis owing to reduced HELB funding. Students have been encouraged to apply for this 2022 scholarship.
This fund is allocated to those pursuing diploma and undergraduate courses.The African Canadian Continuing Education Society (ACCESS) is a non profit organization which has been supporting education in Kenya since 1993.
This year, it is supporting students from named western counties. To apply students need to fill in ACCES 2 FORM found either in all county or sub-county government ministry offices in these stated counties.
Alternatively, they can apply online through w.w.w.acceskenya.org. The application is valid from 1st march 2022 to 30th june 2022.
