Kenya’s Ministry of Education has announced 200 study abroad scholarships to Hungary for qualified Kenyan students.
On Friday, November 11th, a statement was released on the ministry’s website stating that the scholarship was funded by the Hungarian government.
The scholarships, as stated by the ministry, are meant for students pursuing degrees at the undergraduate, masters, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels.
This fellowship is open to undergraduates majoring in the following scientific disciplines: agriculture, computing/IT, law, economics/business, engineering/technology, medicine/health, and the natural sciences.
Doctoral studies are accessible for any subject interest, while the one-tier master’s programme is suitable for those who desire to pursue a medical-related course.

If you are awarded this scholarship, you will not have to worry about paying for your education or, if you plan to live in a hostel, your accommodation costs.
The university will also give medical insurance and a monthly stipend.
You need a B or above on the KCSE and must have graduated from college within the past three years to be considered for admission to the undergraduate program. You must also not be older than 25 years old.
You need a Bachelor’s degree with upper-second-class honors in order to continue your education at the graduate level. Earning a doctorate degree requires a master’s in the same field.
The deadline for submission of online application to the Tempus Public Foundation is 16th January 2023 (2 pm Central European Time).
