RE: 2022 FORM 1 PLACEMENT PREPARATION – UPLOADING AND UPDATING SCHOOLS JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
“As you are aware the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education Examination will be offered from
7th to 9th March, 2022. Soon after the results of the examination, the Ministry will embark on the form one placement exercise where all eligible candidates will be placed in secondary schools.
The School Principals are required to update their schools joining instructions using the link provided in the email forwarding this circular.
The email should therefore be forwarded to school’s email address for the link to be effective. Those schools that are in the National, Extra County and County categories and do not have their joining instructions online should be in word except for the school logo.
The Sub-county schools will not be expected to upload their joining instruction since the selected students come from around their localities and can pick a hard copy from the schools.
The main purpose of this letter is to ask you to cascade this information to Public Secondary Schools in your jurisdiction. Let this exercise be completed by 18th March 2022.
