The Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) service on the Nairobi Expressway is expanding, and the toll road authority has posted 50 open sales and marketing positions.
In the notice that was published on the 10th of October, the applicants will be expected to market the ETC service as a brand new way of making payments and commuting on the elevated road that is 27.1 kilometers in length.
The applicants, the post said, must leverage their significant experience to market ETC as an unique technology if they are recruited.
Saturday, October 15th is the last day to submit an application.
“We are establishing a sales and marketing team for the promotion of ETC as a brand new way of making payments and traveling on the Nairobi Expressway, a technology that has never been seen in the country before,” read part of the notice.
They will be responsible for advertising the ETC service, signing up new ETC users according to a monthly quota, responding to customer questions, and any other activities that may be allocated to them by their supervisor.
Skills & Experience
Successful applicants will have a demonstrated track record in sales and have worked in sales and marketing for at least one year.
The ideal applicant will have experience working with customers and will be patient, persistent, driven, flexible, and open to new ideas.
Other skills needed for the job include the ability to work well with others, the ability to use one’s initiative, be thorough and pay attention to detail as well as excellent verbal communication skills.
