Names of Shortlisted Candidates For Public Service Commission Position.
Eight candidates were elected for the position of male member of public service commission.
The eight are: United Democratic Party (UDA) Chairman Johnson Muthama, former Kisii Governor James Ongwae, former Kiminini Member of Parliament Chris Wamalwa, former MP Aldai Cornelli Serem, former Limuru MP Peter Mungai, former Matungu MP David Were, former Kwale County Assembly Speaker Sammy Nyamawi Ruwa and John Aruma Ekale.
Senate Clerk Jeremiah Nyegeye said in a statement that the interview will take place on December 30, 2022.
In the meantime, members of the public are invited to submit information on registered rights to the Directorate of the Senate by 17:00 on Thursday 29 December 2022.
The conversation will be held in a small room, on the first floor, in the county headquarters, in the council building,” he said.
A total of 171 aspirants submitted their applications to PSC after the vacancy was announced. After the interview, the PSC will recommend the names of suitable candidates for appointment to the National Assembly and Senate.
