Today the Ministry of Education has released a circular to all the county directors of education.
The circular indicates that in preparation for the rollout of CBC to junior secondary the ministry requested the Cases to provide a list of the public primary schools which would be used as junior secondary. The proposed institutions are as below.
In my opinion, the government could have intensified in construction of classrooms and all the requirements.
Again more teachers need to be employed in a bid to cover teacher shortages because of the 100% transition from Primary.
Lastly, many people aren’t prepared for this CBC considering that it requires a lot of money.
Most parents have been overburdened as they are told about the costs incurred mostly by practical subjects.
The new system will succeed if the government will pump more into the education sector.
Keep checking the page as more schools to host junior secondary will be provided soon.
