New List Of Teachers Deregistered By TSC December 2022. Teachers Service Commission is mandated to hire and fire teachers. Under many circumstances, a teacher can be deregistered.

 

The Commission clearly gives a code of conduct to teachers employed by the Commission. Failure to adhere to this code of conduct may lead to disciplinary from the Commission.

These circumstances include;

 

Sexual Misconduct

All teachers should adhere to the rules of the commission. If a teacher breaks TSC rules and regulations, for example by engaging in sexual misconduct with a student, they risk being kicked out of TSC.

 

Criminal Offence

Teachers should be good ambassadors of the commission by behaving well even when they are not in the classroom because if they are found guilty and are arrested or imprisoned, TSC will have no choice but to terminate their employment.

 

Death

If a teacher dies he/she will be deregistered and the vacancy is replaced to bridge the gap left.

 

Fake documentation

 

Teachers are urged to use legitimate, original documents from recognized institutions when applying for jobs. If one fakes and if found guilty, arrested, and charged, TSC will have no choice but to fire and deregister.

 

Opposing TSC reforms

All teachers should follow the rules set by their employers because refresher courses are intended to raise their level of professionalism. Failure to adhere may lead to deregistration.

 

Mental illness

If a teacher suffers from mental illness that will not enable him or her to discharge his or her duties as required by the employer can lead to being deregistered from TSC.

 

TEACHERS SERVICE COMMISSION

 

Pursuant to section 30 of the TSC Act (2012), the Commission wishes to publish names of teachers who have been removed from the Register of Teachers. Further, under the law these teachers cannot engage in teaching in any learning institution.
