The Ministry of Education will train Grade 1, 2, and 3 primary school teachers from public schools on English and Kiswahili languages in this month.
Kenya Institute of curriculum Development has revised the course designs and curriculum for the three grade levels.
According to a ministry of education circular, county education directors must organize venues.
The Director Olick Nereah signed the circular dated September 16 on behalf of early learning and basic education PS Julius Jwan.
As per to the latest circular, the orientation should occur between September 19 and 23 during the school break.
Part of the statement reads, “The lead trainers should establish a zonal training timetable for each zone in your county.”
The circular sent to county education directors also requested that the CDEs verify that the orientation is effective.
The circular also informs,“The purpose of this circular, therefore, is to request you to organize the training venues and invite the teachers for the same,”
