TSC has released schedule and roadmap for interviews for the upcoming January 2022 teachers recruitment. The interviews will be conducted between Friday of 11th to Thursday of 17th February 2022
The whole exercise began on 19th of January 2022 when the vacancies were availed online and expected to be concluded by 25th April, 2022 this year when the successful candidates report to their station.
From the latest advertisement from the commission on January 19th 2022 , 2945 vacancies were advertised both in primary and secondary levels.
January 21st, 2022 .- Sensitization of Regional TSC Directors
On Friday 21st January ,2022 sensitization process will be undergone by all the Teachers Service Commission Regional Directors . The directors will be briefed in details how to manage the coming recruitment exercise.
January 19th to 1st January 2022 .- Online Applications of Open Vacancies by Qualified Teachers.
Teacher service commission opened its online website on 19th of January to 1st of February 2022 via the tsc link interested and qualified teachers to offer their submission.
Note that after date 1st February 2022 no more application is required.
Friday 28th,January 2022 – Collection of employment forms by County Directors
On 28th January 2022 all the TSC County Directors are required to collect the teachers employment forms for the vacant school slots in preparation for the interview dates.
Wednesday 2nd to Thursday 3rd February 2022 – Generation of Applicant’s Merit lists and Sending to Counties
Generation of applicant’s merit lists and sending to counties is an exercise that takes at most two days. Immediately after the online application lapses TSC starts to digital generating all the applicants’ merit lists by County.
This lists are later sent to the relevant TSC county Director .
Friday 11th to 17th February 2022 -The briefing, Vetting of Documents, Selection, and Interviewing Applicants :Filling of TSC employment forms by successful candidates
As from 11th to 17th February 2022 , the School Principals and administrators will undergo a briefing. This briefing exercise will incorporate the following members:
TSC County Directors
TSC Sub-County Directors
The School Principals.
Thereafter the briefing ,the vetting of teacher Applicants’ documents, Interviews, and the selection exercise commences immediately.
With the organization of each County specific dates and venues for document vetting, interviewing, and selection of qualified applicants both for Primary and Secondary Schools is set.
After interviewing exercise lapses Successful applicants starts filling in the TSC employment forms for the schools he/she emerged the winner.
Friday 18th to Monday 21st February 2022-concurrent vetting vetting at the headquarters
This date Friday 18th to Monday 21st February 2022 after interviewing exercise lapses.concurrent vetting vetting at the headquarters takes place
Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th February 2022-Vetting and handling of complaints at County level
vetting and handling of any complaints arising kicks off for 5 days after the recruitment exercise. The process only takes place at the TSC County Directors with close supervision by the county commission.
Monday 28th February to Thursday 3rd March 2022 -Receiving of documents at the TSC Headquarters
Document copies of Successful applicants, interview sheet and selection data files, and Employment forms are sent for verifications at TSC headquarters.
Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th February 2022- Capturing of details of successful candidates, opening of files, printing, signing, dispatching of offer letters and initiation of posting entry /Exit reports module.
The verification of all the results from the recruitment exercise is undertaken at the TSC headquarters as from Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th February 2022
Monday 25th April, 2022- Reporting Dates of teachers to schools
candidates who will secure the jobs will be required to report to their places of work not late than the Monday 25th April, 2022 . However, they will be given a grace period of 21 days.
By May 25th, 2022 – Sending reporting status to TSC Headquarters by County Directors
The TSC County Directors will be required to send the details of successful candidates to the TSC headquarters by that date.
