Several teachers across the country are likely to be affected by transfers that are expected to be commence by 30th August 2022 .
According to notice released by Teachers Service Commission way back on Wednesday 4th April 2022, a number of teachers are expected to be affected by the forthcoming transfers due to staff balancing across the schools, sub-counties and counties.
Therefore according to TSC, the exercise of balancing is expected to start immediately. All directors have been urged to prepare a detailed report on reviewed staff status and it should be submitted to the commission or TSC headquarters before the month of August comes to an end.
Impressively, all newly recruited teachers posting and transfers will be to schools and areas with higher teacher shortages.
1.Teachers in overstaffed schools and regions
It goes without saying that all those teachers employed in overstaffed schools are expected to be balanced to ensure those schools with deficits receive those extra teachers. Therefore these teachers should brace themselves for the forthcoming transfers.
2.Teachers who have overstayed in a station
Report alleges that those categories of tutors who have overstayed in a station are expected to receive transfers. According to the TSC overstaying means, working in a station for more than five years.
On that note, a full list of the affected teachers is being prepared and will be uploaded for the teachers to check their names. Once that is done, our media team will post it immediately.
