The Teachers Service Commission has announced that the implementation of the 2021-2025 has reached its final stage.
Teachers should expect salary changes next month. In the CBA, primary school teachers are the most favoured as compared to the other group of teachers.
According to the Teachers Service Commission CEO, the least paid primary school teacher will be earning sh. 27000.
The change cuts across all teachers but teachers in primary section have been awarded a salary increment of sh. 6000.
The commission says that it favoured primary school teachers because they are the worst hit group who receive little salary.
The change is immediate and teachers will be smiling all the way to the bank at the end of next month with an addition on their salary.
The move by TSC has been appreciated by all employed primary school teachers who say that life had become unbearable with the little pay.
They say that with the increment, they will be able to acquire basic necessities thereby improving their living standards.
Now that teachers are set to get a Payrise,, implementing it and phasing it to reflect in their Payslips will take some time owing to the huge numbers of teachers in the country.
This will mean that this month’s salary is set to be delayed for that reason, meaning Teachers should be a little bit patient.
