The Teachers Service Commission has just declared tough journey ahead for those planning to become teachers in the future.
This comes after latest update where it was revealed that the board will not lower entry grades into the profession.
To add on this, it was revealed that those planning to take education will be required to get C+ and above in the necessary subjects.
Speaking about the reason for having reached this decision, TSC Deputy Director said this is meant to offer quality education to students.
Those planning to teach primary schools will also be required to get C plain and above.
” The Teachers Service Commission has raised the entry point of teaching in the country to have the right kind of people to offer quality education to our children.
These are the people with the ability to offer quality education to our children,” said Lentoijoni.
This communicates a strong message that security a job with TSC will no longer be a walk in the park like people used to assume in the past.
