The TSC County Director MUST see to it that the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 pandemic containment standards are strictly followed during the teacher recruitment process.
All TSC County Director MUST make sure that candidates with impairments may reach those interview venues.
Every applicant MUST be registered teachers, according to Section 23(1) of the Teachers Service Commission Act of 2012.
Teachers who have not registered correctly will not be given consideration for employment.
Inorder to prevent hiring unregistered or deregistered teachers, TSC County Directors have been entrusted with making sure that Heads of Institutions confirm the online registration status of applicants during the shortlisting process.
BELOW IS THE (BOM) CHECKLIST FOR TEACHERS ATTENDING INTERVIEWS IN JULY 2022
All the successful applicant will be required to submit the following to the Secretary, Board of
Management on the Day of interviews –
A. Present w duly signed commitment letter to serve in the school for a minimum period of five (5)years, and three (3) years in the case of the North Eastern region;
Present all original and clear copies of the following: –
1. Your National identity card (both sides);
2.Your NCPWD card (where applicable);
3.Your 2 passport size color photographs;
4 .Your Certificates and testimonials; KCPE, KCSE, ‘A’ Level, Diploma, Degree, etc;
5.Your Letter of certification of results by KNEC (where applicable);
6.Your Official Academic transcripts;
7.Your Certificate of Registration as a teacher
8. KRA PIN certificate;
9. Bank Plate/Card (front face);
10. Duly filled pay point particulars’ form;
11. NHIF Card;
12. Primary and secondary school leaving certificates and other testimonials;
13. Authentic Evidence of service as a teacher intern (where applicable);
14. Original Medical Examination report in form GP 69;
15. Acknowledgement of receipt of an application for employment.
NB: Principal/Secretary Board of Management is expected to verify and certify all the
above documents before issuing the Application for Employment Form (TSC/APPT 1) to
the successful applicant.
Interviews are expected to start before end of JULY 2022.
